At Drotsky’s, the Vervet Monkeys were on the loose. These cute terrorists appeared in the morning around 06.00 a.m. and mixed up the forest. Their favorite pastime was to storm the treetops and chase at a monkey’s pace the pigeons slumbering in the treetops. These usually fluttered one treetop over, so this game could well dragged on.
It can ‘rain’ while there is some Vervet Monkey action in the treetops
We placed our table and chairs early in regions that offered a clear view to the sky, otherwise it could quickly rain once – they pee where they want. Our losses were limited to the nuts and grapes – acceptable. Just watching them interact, play and fool around was an entertaining pastime in itself.
